Services & FEES:
Offering psychotherapy via telehealth in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island:
Sessions are 50 minutes long. The rate for individual sessions is $275, and relationship therapy is $325. Therapy is most effective when attended weekly, so I typically require weekly attendance. If weekly attendance simply isn’t possible for you but you would like to work together, please let me know.
My fees are based on my professional training, experience, maintenance of multiple state licenses, costs for ongoing supervision and professional liability insurance, and the current market rate for private psychotherapy in the Northeast. At this time, I do have a waitlist for prospective patients requiring a reduced rate, however I am happy to provide the name of a similarly oriented colleague in this case.
I offer all prospective patients a free 20 minute video consultation so that we can determine whether I am the right therapist for you.
Please note the following:
I do not currently work with youth under the age of 18. I’m happy to help identify a similarly oriented provider in your state.
I am not able to provide clinical assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD, or service/emotional support animal letters. Thank you for your understanding.
In accordance with the No Surprises Act (effective January 1, 2022), all new clients will receive a Good Faith Estimate. These estimates list the costs of services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs. The information provided in the Good Faith Estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate is created. For more information, please visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises
Insurance & out of network COVERAGE:
I am an Out of Network Provider for insurance purposes. While I’m unable to accept insurance from other companies directly, I offer billing for the purpose of insurance reimbursement. Depending on your coverage, Out of Network benefits will often reimburse a significant portion of our fee.
It is recommended that you contact your insurance carrier to find out if you are eligible for Out of Network coverage. When contacting insurance, be sure to ask the following questions:
Does my insurance plan offer Out of Network coverage for mental and behavioral health?
What is my Out of Network deductible? Has it been met? When does it renew?
What amount per session will insurance reimburse?
How do I submit billing so I can be reimbursed for psychotherapy sessions?
